Inventory System Begins!
This week, I took the first real step into bringing the inventory system to life in Daedalus: Arcane Odyssey. The basic grid navigation is already working, and I’ve started setting up how each slot will display item data.
There’s still a lot to do — especially integrating the A-Forge mechanics — but seeing the system respond is incredibly rewarding.
I’m a graphic designer by trade, not a programmer… so this part has been a huge learning curve. But I’m pushing through with a lot of coffee and persistence.
As I like to say:
“A small step for a programmer… a giant leap for a graphic designer.” 😄
Thanks for following along. If you want to see it in motion, check out the latest video!
